96-98 tails

to answer your question, yes, they bolt right in. i bought mine from mustang parts specialties. make sure you get the pigtail harnesses also when you get them. i love those tails, i have removed every mark that would stste that my car had a 5.0 in it, 2000 gt badges, bullitt wheels, 96 tails. only the hardcore would know it's a 94-95 by the teal paint. i love getting "what the hell do you have done to that little 4.6?!?". :D

they fit right up!

Dont do it man! Those vertical lights that are in their now scream, "i ride a 5.0!" Be proud of your sn95 man!

Just my opinion.

i'm torn. i am proud of the 5.0, but i do not like the horizontal tail lights. i like the vertical ones on the 96-98 much more.

PLEASE keep your horizontal tails ! You dont wanna look like a 4.6, do you ? We're the last of our kind, be proud of your 5.0 and keep the stock ones on there.

I feel like I'm repeating myself every month or something...:nonono:

:OT: dude, nice avatar! got any links to more pics of her?

I have 3 sets of tails and I like the 94's so much more b/c it distinguishes my ride as a

. You don't know how many times people have walked up to me to ask me why I had 94 SC5 0 on my plates when I had a 4.6?

BTW: Why do people black out their plates when they post pics on the net? I notice that in some pics and I'm just curious whats up with that?

i wanted the 4.6L lights too when i first began... but why spend like 200 to make your car look less powerful than it really is? Besides, the horizontals will grow on you

94SC5.0 : I just have to say one more time ... DAAAAAAMN!!! I also noticed that about the plates and asked but never really got a difinitive answer (maybe if you piss somebody off you don't want them being able to find out where you live)

Quick question: I thought i saw some 6 cylinders with the horizontal lights... everybody keeps saying that the 5.0's have the horizontals but what about the regular mustangs from 94-95??? Is there an obvious answer i'm not seeing

i thought about swaping them out, but changed my mind. i loke the horizontal tails alot better.

awhile ago we had a poll on this topic. The 94-95 guys said they like the horizontals better 75% to 25% for vertical. the mod guys liked the verticals 75% to 25% for horizontal. so basically it was torn fifty/fifty when u at them up between the SN-95 crew.

stay with horzontals man, be proud of the 94-95.

I can kinda see the point of switching to verticals, they are definately a stand out feature of the early stangs. I don't see why they reintroduced the side scoops on our model but made the lights horizontal?

While you'll never see this guy cross over to the darkside, I can certainly how the switch could be justified.

Because there could be some A$$hole freak "sniffing" around the boards, getting your address from you plate number and trying to find your car to steal it. Internet "stalking" is very real and there is no reason to give any "EXTRA" info about yourself if you dont have to.

Anyway JR, you have to make it back to Lauderdale so we can go get a  and I can check that car out in person :nice:

if anyone comes my way. I also learned that my Florida CWP is no good here in VA!
I hear ya on that FL trip, my brother just opened a shop off OPB and Powerline and he's trying to get me back down there. I'm trying to make the trip and might have to use the Auto Train for the Stang. It gets 125 to a tank and it would be out of the question to drive all the way down. :D
