I run consistantly at the "R" in "normal", and sometimes going over into the "M". This is on the freeway and city driving. I assume that I still have the stock thermo.

It just seems it's running a little warm, where do you all run at?

Im usually in the R range when it gets really hot out and I got the A/C on and sitting in traffic I get into the end of the M range beginning of A.

Never been past the M, but it usually sits between the N and the O.

Depending on the mods you have on your car, it'll affect the engine in a certain way. I have chrome bassani mid-length headers and that probabably causes more heat than stock manifolds or coated headers and underdrive pulleys reduces the cooling with the water pump, along with other spinning accesories. My stang runs pretty warm.

temp

I sit on the 'M' except in traffic. The fan kicks on a hair before 'A' then it goes back to 'M'. 160 `stadt and heavier radiator with external tranny cooler coming soon. also screw on oil cooler coming soon.

That gauge is totally jacked just so everyone knows. Its just a dummy gauge. I have an autometer gauge and one day it went from 200 to 250 and the stock gauge still read between O and R and didnt budge the whole time. Something to think about....mine normally runs around 210 in the summer, 220 when I am beating up on it.
