96 Explorer Injectors in a 88 Mustang

Can you use 96 Explorer 302 Injectors in a 88 Mustang 302?

If you have 19lbs injectors then the 96 Explorer injectors (v8) which are orange but the small style should work. Currently that is what is on my 91 Coupe while I rebuild the Explorer motor for my Coupe. Hope this helps.

Yup I have the 19's in there now. I noticed on the explorer injectors the area that goes into the manifold has no pintle caps like the stock Mustang ones and it has 4 squirter holes as opposed to the 1 that the mustangs have. Did you notice a difference in driveability with the Explorer injectors?

Hello bighoss88lx,
Since my stock injectors had 210000 or so miles on them the drivability was better for sure as far as gas mileage and performance. Hope this hopes.
