Hi All,

I am at the end of my rope with the AC in my 96 GT.

Full resto has been done on the car including AC system. New compressor, lines, accumulator, switch, recharge.

System holds pressure and worked great for a couple days and now today the compressor does not cycle on.....

Any ideas of where to go next??

Thanks guys!

With the AC on, Is there key on +12 volts at the AC low pressure switch? On BOTH sides?

What happens when the low pressure switch is jumped?

Well. Things just got more complicated. It's not necessary to trouble shoot the entire AC clutch circuit.

At the AC clutch, is the key on, AC on 12 volts at either terminal?

At the AC clutch, CONFIRM there is a good ground. Best to use a test light that will "load" the circuit.

Measure the key off resistance through the AC clutch coil. Post.

Does the AC clutch engage IF +12 volts is jumped directly to the AC clutch? Best to use a fused jumper.
