I was putting back on the little brass fitting that plugs the test port (the whole thing, not just the little black cap) back on the fuel rail, when it decided to break in half. So now half of the fitting is inside the rail, and I can't get it out. I wanted to take the rail out so I could deal with it inside and out of the cold, but I noticed the gray lines running between the fuel rails. Are those permanently fit on there? I figured they were since there is no kind of clamp on it. I was wondering this since I didn't want to take off both rails and have it be a gigantic pain in the ass. If I could just get the one side off it would be a lot simpler. So is the line removable or should I not **** with it?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the brass fitting out? I tried hammering in a flathead screwdriver and turning it, but the brass is too brittle to get it out.
Thanks.
