97 Cobra Headlights

Anyone know how to remove the pass headlight on a 97 cobra

I thought all you had to do was pull up on those two tabs located behind the headlight itself and then disconnect the harness.

You have to remove the small nut that holds the marker lamp on(I believe it is a 10mm) Once you have done that you can pull on the tabs of the headlights and they will slide off.

All three adjusters have these two tabs that you must push in and they will poop out. It can be a PITA because your big hands don't fit behind them, but you'll get it. I just bought new ones for mine since they are all cloudy. I can't wait to install them.

What he said.. it can be a PITA to get them squeezed. They clip into the firewall support behind the headlights. I ended up breaking 2 before I figured it out. They sell all new adj bolts and plastic clips pretty cheap if you start breaking stuff in there. I think a set of long needle nose pliers ended up working best

I hate those damn adjusters, they crap out so fast and make the headlights all wonky.

I want to install mine so bad!!!!!!!!! I look at the front of my car and they are yellow. I have had the car since 30K and it's got 54K on it now. 24K in 8 years and they are yellow!!
