Hey guys, I've got another issue with my 97 Cobra I need to address. I am taking my upper intake off (as well as valve covers) to powder coat. Can I reuse the gasket if it looks okay? They are like $50 which is ridiculous for a single gasket. Some said to use black ATV but I'm not sure about that idea? I would love to reuse the old gasket if some have had success in the past with this method. Any and all help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

Also does the removal sequence matter as much as the installation sequence as far as tighting and untightening the bolts on the upper intake and valve covers? Thanks again!

If the gaskets are in good shape you can get away with re-using them... Removal sequence on those parts as far as what bolts you loosen first doesnt matter, I have a habit of doing things in a cross pattern to keep the alum from flexing on removal, just like you do on installation.
