What needs to be modified for it to work? I'm picking up a brand new MAC catback for my 95, but its made for a 98. The only reason is it's only $200

Thanks

Someone else will have to chime in to confirm, but as far as I know, the only difference should be the hangers at the tailpipe. That should be an easy fix, as they should unbolt from the car.

It should fit fine with no modifications if its from the cats to the back of the car the H pipes are different

I've never heard of any differences between the cat back systems from 94-98.

I think the 98 catback would interfere with the 95's rear suspension. The 98 has IRS and the 95 doesn't. I think thats the reason the 95's exhaust goes over the rear axle. I could always be wrong though, which my wife reminds me of often

I've read that the difference for the 98 Mustang is in the hangers as well.
Flowmaster advertises their catbacks for 94-97 5.0 and 4.6 GT Mustangs.

Should be able to cut off the hangers from the pipe side and have them rewelded in the correct orientation.

Only thing different is the tailpipe hangers. I know this due to buying a 98 cat-back for 96. magnaflow tails pipes comes with universal mountings. order them now and save yourself the headache
