does anyone know how to disconnect the factory alarm in the 98 Cobra. Unfortunately I had to sell my cobra, and it's being shipped to mississippi. I have to disconnect the alarm to put it on the truck. please please please tell me I don't need to take my dashboard out.

If you have to disable it to put it on a truck for shipping just take off the negative battery cable once its been driven on. I don't know why you need to disconnect it anyways, it won't go off while being transferred unless someone tries to get in it.
