Wich swap is easier and less exspensive....??? have about 4 gs for a new setup and since I blew my intake last night, all the more reason to get the project started.

well you could probably sell your car for like $5 or 6k sooo you'd have about $9k total after the sale of your car. You could get a cobra for that. Maybe even a 99 Cobra if you can manage $10k

I'd get a cobra

well, if the pi swap is what your considering, i dont think it will run you 4 grand. i sold my perfect pi heads and cams with 9,000 miles on them for about 350 -400 bucks. i dont remember exactly what i got.

for 4 grand you could do a low psi blower, that might be worth it.

otherwise id get the cobra.

or if you like your car, skip the pi 's and get ported pi heads and a set of cams. now that will run you closer to you 4 g's and will add alot of power over what you have now.

PI swap + blower????

The PI swap is definitely easier and cheaper to do.

You always do the Mongoose kit.

There are options for you to do with a 2v motor short of swapping in a Cobra motor. The cobra motor will be more expensive, and when done you will still have a stockish 305-320HP Cobra engine. With a PI swap and some sort of forced induction, you could have more.

Unsure of the going prices of kits though, they may be more expensive than 4K
