98 cobra wheels - painted or powdercoated from factory?

what's the stock silver color on 98 cobra wheels? I presume it's paint and not powder, but wanted to ask.....getting wheels powdercoated this coming week and they asked what finish was on the wheels now (if it's powder, it has to be chemically stripped, so adds cost...)
