I have an 03 Roush 2 with the sohc engine. I am able to get a 98 cobra. I am wondering if I can use the heads off that, and what I could expect from that. Also wondering what else I should take off it for myself?
This has been asked before and I forgot the exact details, but as far as I know it's highly complicated up to the point where it's not worth doing since there are better ways of making more power.
you'd be better off swapping the entire motor, in fact you should since the cobra has an aluminum block. it'll save you alot of fabbing and extra cost than trying to ford B heads on a SOHC setup

I recommend new pistons to get the desired cr with the heads
Also recommend a Cobra crank and 8 bolt flywheel unlike the SOHC's 6 bolt.

Dong go with 98 heads...they are B port. You will loose ALOT of lowend grunt, and they are designed to make power way up top. get some heads off of an 99-01 cobra...or an 03-04 mach 1.
