My friend is selling me a '98 Cobra motor with the computer and wiring harness for $2,500 it has around 100k miles on it.....is this a good deal?? Would you suggest putting in a 98 Motor in a 2000 or does it matter?? Any suggestion/comments are very helpful
I just got off the phone with my friend and he said that it's a 97 with 45,000 miles on it.....is is worth it??? what would I have to do to make the swap?
www.cobrapoweredgt.com I was looking to do the same swap into my 98. The only thing about this is that they show a way to "rig" the stock computer for the DOHC motor. since you have the comp...that might make it a little easier
There is a law that requires that any engine swap for a vehicle, the engine has to be newer or as the same year of the car otherwise it will not pass smog.
