On the drivers side of my 98 GT the boot has deteriorated on the ball joint. How in the @#$@ do I get it out of the lower control arm??? It looks like they are pressed in??? If so, do I have to take the freaking LCA off and take it too a shop to replace it? If so, that kindof sucks, but I guess there's a reason for them doing that....

Thanks!

Yes, or you can buy an entire control arm

get a loan tool ball joint press from autozone and press them out, then press in new ones. you'll probably also need a pitman arm to separate the brake assembly from the ball joint
