98 gt doesn't want to start right away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my car doesn't want to start right away after sitting for a bit. it cranks just fine and sometimes i have to turn the key back and forth 3 to 4 times for it to start. i need opinions on what ya'll think it might be.

Be more specific, to start w/it has to be fuel, fire, or air. What does it sound like when you crank.
