98 GT cylinder head questions

I have a relatively stock 98 gt, i am looking to get some kind of cylinder heads, better than the PI heads. i was wondering if the patriot heads fit my car and if there is any online site where i can look at various parts of the sort. also what would be the best combo for my car, as in heads cams intake and all that good stuff, would like an aggressive cam but no too aggressive, just looking for some nice power gains, money is a factor so not too overboard, it is an auto as well, also any other supporting mods that i should do at the same time, or things i should do before looking to make some power. like shift kit, stall, gears or does it not matter that much

any help is appreciated

All aftermarket companys that offer 4.6 heads are just porting etc. stock PI heads. I'd stay away from patriot and go with a better company. Someone will chim in with a good company.

I would go with MPH or VT.. just about any aftermarket head you can get is goign to be a ported PI.. this should not be a issue for you unless you are FI with a lot of boost.

there is SVO NPI heads thats teh only aftermarket NPI head i know of.

there is always Fox Lake and Steen racing for a few for ported heads, if money is an issue you could have Steen work up a set of NPI heads with the PI exhaust valve, behive springs and cams. Then later you could bolt up the PI intake. If you look around you can find the SVO heads for less than $1000 but you have to be patient and have the cash when the deal comes around
