i have a 98 mustang gt with cold air kit, upr catted x-pipe and full flowmaster 40 series exhaust. i am going to have it reprogrammed with my sct tuner after pulley swap. now my question is can i put a 75mm accufab throttle body on my car without issues? also will it work with my stock plenum?

Don't waste your money. At your current level, the TB isn't a restriction, nor is anything else in the intake piping. Your focus should be on heads, cams, gears, and exhaust headersYour money is better spent elsewhere. For the same money you spend on a TB you can get a set of gears which will give a much larger improvement. If you want suggestions, just ask.

Yeah, the TB should bolt right up. Just remember that for a given accelerator pedal position, the new TB will flow more air, but you really won't get more power. Make sure that the throttle positon sensor retains the right voltage ( i want to say it is .99volts but i am not for sure). You may need to adjust it.

For the Mass Air Flow ODB2's (1996+), the TPS is not used the same way as in the speed density days. The TPS value is re-learned at every engine start up. No adjustment required.

The biger TB will not cause any problems as long as the MAF is still indexed correctly. IE, the MAF will still read the correct amount of air.

It's your build man, you can throw it on or not. It takes ten to twenty minutes to add or remove it and it won't cost you any power. If you put it on now, you won't have to put it on later. As for selling it, why bother, a good deal is a good deal and $70 dollars is a good deal. Just my two cents.

At the very least it will increase throttle response, wouldn't hurt putting it on. Its all on preference, it will be very significant if you were running insane amounts of power but, like W.M. Burns stated the computer will adjust, the horsepower claims by these companies are just gimmicks. Don't expect a night and day difference!

well to put it short, if you put it on now youll benefit more after the h/c/i from a pi motor. you really dont have many options for cams if you do a pi swap. cushman motorsports has a really nice cam selection for the npi applications. but its your goat were just holding the head:)

As is... a 75mm TB won't do you any good but it won't hurt you either. The computer will compensate. If you are planning on a blower, then "yes" get the 75mm. I went directly from the stock 65mm to a 75mm Accufab before I put in my blower. All was good... just no difference till I put in the blower.
