Would 1999-2000 Stock GT Rims 17x8 245/45r17's fit on the new S197 Mustang with no issues?

More offset, so a 94-04 wheel/tire will stick out past the wheel well of an 05-09. A 17x8 will stick out a bit, and a 17x9 will stick out even more. I bought a pair of 17x9 Steeda wheels to mount drag radials on my '07 GT and was less than pleased by the resulting look. Ended up buying a set of 05+ wheels for the drag radials to get a proper offset that fits correctly.
