99 4v ticking with 900 Miles on it.

I tried post this question is the svt forums but no one replied.

The damn thing is ticking and when i'm giving it gas it sounds like i have a exhaust leak. When i pop the hood it is ticking louder on the passanger head. What can be the problem? I think it maybe a valve. What do you guys think?

Oh, I think I see where you were going on that post. What DBMSTNG meant was that you shoved a 99 4v into a 96 GT, did you use your stock computer? You need to get a 4v tune to run that engine. Then again, maybe I missed something like I thought. Anyways, get a screwdriver or a pipe and put it up to the head, with your ear on the other end of it and try to pinpoint where it is coming from. You will be able to get a real good idea of exactly where it is coming from using this method.

900 miles and you already **** up your motor your suppost to wait at least 3000 miles before you start racing and the 2v tune dont help either
