We have all 4 bolts out but I cannot get it to pry forward at all to drop it down then slide out the front end. Why would it be stuck so hard next to flange?
We have all 4 bolts out but I cannot get it to pry forward at all to drop it down then slide out the front end. Why would it be stuck so hard next to flange?
The flange fits very tight in the first place. So if there's any rust or corrosion at all I could see that holding it up. If this were my car I would use a combination of:
penetrating oil. Allow to soak in.
rubber mallet
brass hammer
light prying. Being careful not to mar the mating surfaces.
