99 exhaust on a 97?

No, as the 99/01 and 03/04 cobra catback are designed to be used with the IRS (exhaust plumbing runs under the axle of the aforementioned cobras where your model year cobra has the piping running over the axle).

the system is off a gt, not a cobra. i heard the hangers were a little different.
