The upper and lower will bolt up with the use of an elbow. The injectors and fuel rail won't work.

99 explorer intake

Only the 96-early 97 Explorer intakes had the internal EGR passages like the 87-93 stock intakes if you need to stay with emissions checks. The later 97 up Explorer intakes do not have the internal EGR passages, but they are compatible with the 94-95 external EGR systems-BUT they have to be converted to a Fox throttle assy to work.

Since the SN cars had external EGR systems, the 99 intake will work - with the EGR elbow as mentioned above.

one of the first things i did to my car was the intake. its worth it. your stock rails and injectors will work. im pretty sure all the elbows have the egr hookup.

You only need the upper and lower intake from the Explorer. Buy a elbow adaptor and use your stock throttle body. No, the GT Mustang lower will not work with the Explorer upper as they are not interchangable. Also, the throttle body from the Explorer will not work.

The 94-95 cars don't need the internal EGR becasue they have an external system - you can use any year Exolorer intake.

Thanks Tmoss!! I was just unsure if the internal ported ones would cause a problem because they are ported, I assum the elbow takes care of that issue HEHE
