99+ Mustangs

Hey guys/gals. I've been thinking about buying a newer mustang as my next car. Can you give me some input on them? how well they take to mods, reliability, the difference (if much) between the 99-04 years.

mid 01(i think) and up has the TR-3650 trans the 99-mid01 have the T45

04 you can get the 40th Anniv pack which got you bullit wheels and some badges and i think if you got black leather you got some chrome stuff because mine has chrome stuff everywhere inside.

they are VERY easy to drive

i like my 04 GT

If you like the anthracite (gray) Bullitt wheels, they changed the color in 02. The 02-04 ones are a bit darker and have more gloss. They look nicer. Ford when cheap in 04 and ABS/TC became an $800 option. They dropped off little things like lights in the visor mirrors and such. However, the 04s have "special" 40th anniversary edition badging. If you're buying used, maybe an 02 or 03 would be best.
