I'm just starting to look into putting a rollbar onto my 02 vert. Just to clarify, I am NOT talking about the styling/light bar. To me, that things a death trap, if your car flips, that things going to bend down and you will be a gonner for sure.

Anyway... I'm looking for some pictures and suggestions on places to buy them. Also, what type would be best. I would prefer that it looks good on the car of course.

Wrong year but here is mine, its autopower.

The only downside with mine, nobody can really fit in the backseat, so I made a rear seat delete.

I bought the autopower 4-point roll bar (steeda.com) for my 2001 convertible. It looks great, especially with nagahyde covers. I thought about a 6-point roll bar but you lose the rear seat and have to climb over them to sit in the front. I'll try to post some pictures of my stang.

I was looking around myself and found one that looked pretty nice to me. Here's a link to the car: http://www.forcefedperformance.com/profiles/mustang/armando/file.htm

Nice car MyEarsHurt.

Stupid question, do they all have that bar going across towards the bottom? Or can you get one that just connects to the frame on the side and at the top bend only?

95CobraStang, that one looks pretty good!

On the one i posted, it says that the crossbar and diagonal bar are able to be removed..ill bet it would look pretty good w/out those!! Maybe take em off for everyday driving, and on for track-time

Man those roll bars look butt-ugly! Totally ruins the car.
I'd rather be caught dead with my light bar.

I got a 6 point cage from www.kirkracing.com The cage was intended for the hardtop 99+ Mustang, as they dont make anything specifically for the verts. I had a friend weld the cage in, and he took the back bars that should go from the top of the roll bar to the shock tower, and welded them instead from the lower crossbar to the floor pan behind the back seat. I had the back seat cut and reupholstered to fit accordingly.

I have seen two local stangs that have 4 point rollbars that DO actually look pretty good. The ones they have are covered with padding and some type of vinal or something.

Here is a link I found for the Autopower bars.

Does anyone make covers in leather, hopefully in colors to match the factory leather colors?

Tom C, I just sent you an email asking for the pics.

What brand Roll bar do you have? How hard was it to install? Where did you buy it? If you don't mind me asking, how much was it?

Wow, I have to agree with you.

It has to be one of the nicest ones I have ever seen for a convertible. Looks like they took a lot of time, and did it exactly right.
