are you burning out the ford racing boot? If you are, why not get the sleeve that covers the boot? It's one time expense and will last very long

No its not that... the wires are just too long and i want to cut them and crimp on new ends. i cant find a 9mm end these are 8.5mm's so i figured they would work.
I just remember getting tired of the long ass wires falling on to the headers.

I pulled the plug boots off,and got replacement clips (that snap on to the plugs) at Autozone.They were cheap.
Autozone doesent carry 9mm either.
Your never supposed to do the plug end. you cut the ditsy side.
Dont know... not sure if id want to do that on an ignition component...
im pretty sure the 8mm's will fit...found a write up where they think they used the msd ends

I have never had any issues.I use a crimper made for this purpose,and they hold great.Have you checked Ebay?I've seen a lot of plug wire accessories for this purpose there as well.
i bought a set of MSD cut to fit plug wires a few years back that came with a crimping tool, it was pretty simple to use and worked great. Im not sure if they still sell kits with the tool in it or not though
