Ok well I need the connector pinouts for the A/C cut off switch and the clutch cycling switch. Also is the cut off switch dual function of single? Thanks a lot in advance my a/c just stopped working so I need to diagnose But I would like to test the switches seeing as I know the system is charged to specs.

You can just jump the connector that hooks up to the pressure cycling switches, and if its your problem the compressor will kick on. All it takes is a paperclip..no need to actually test the switches.

Ok well thanks go-stang, its the clutch cycling switch. When I jumped the connector compressor kicked on and a/c started cooling. So i hooked it back up and hit the switch with a hammer and it started working fine, the whole drive home. Tomorrow I will replace the switch, Also I want to change the oil in my compressor. Anyone know approximately how much oil the compressor should take completely drained??

Wow...I guess the temporary remedy is not just for starter solenoids. Theres a schrader valve under the cycling switch so you can just unscrew it and screw on a new one. No evacuation needed. Unless of course the schrader valve is stuck open .
