My a.c. compressor on my 2000 mustang base model locked up and broke my belt. Bypassed it by removing compressor and running pulley...but too hot to not have a.c. now. What all do I need to order to replace a.c. compressor?
Orifice tube and drier/accumulator. Do NOT put a new compressor on a Ford without a new orifice tube, the shrapnel from the old compressor that's there will kill the new compressor. Make sure they flush the hoses, condenser, and evaporator while at it.
