I've been having problems with my A/C lately. Seems that the a/c compressor cycles on and off to quickly. now I know that it may be that its low in refrigerant but the car only has 24,000 miles on it, is this possible? Do you think that it could be something else? I plan on taking it in to Ford to have them look at it but the thing is I have u/d pullies and a t/a installed will they give me problems because of this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

YES, this happend to me! i drained the entire system and put in all new refridgerent, and it did nothing! The compressor would only click on VERY briefly, not even long enough to keep it somewhat cold. So I disconnected the A/C cylce switch and plugged a paper clip (to act as a jumper) in the plug, and the compressor kicked right on! which led me to beleive it was a bad a/c cycle switch. I went down to the dealership to get one (15 bucks), put it on, and it worked good as new! So I would suggest trying the switch!

The o-rings sealing the slip-joints together are a weak point in the A/C system. Mine were replaced (under warranty) at about 6,000 miles or so. My compressor was replaced last year (ouch $$). Try "SilverBullet00's" suggestion and, if it doesn't work, then I suggest that you bring it in and have the system checked to find out exactly what the problem is.
