Hey Im new to this joint. Got an engine question. My 2000 GT is fairly stock with Steeda pulleys and not much else on the motor. Heres the problem: last summer I drove the car to Vegas in the heat. The A/C worked fine on the way there, but on the way back I noticed the A/C air steadily getting warmer. After about 2-3 hours on the road, in about 100 degrees heat, the air was hot so I shut it off, thinking I sprung a leak. The next day I drove the car to work and the A/C blew cold, no problems. Of course the dealer couldnt find anything. Anyone ever had this kind of problem with underdrive pulleys? Is it possible that with the compressor turning slower it couldnt keep up with the necessary heat transfer? I havent gone on any road trips since, so I havent ran the A/C for much longer than an hour. Thanks in advance.
