So I replaced my A/C cycling switch about 2 weeks ago, and the A/C went out on Thursday. Any other suggestions? Here's a link to the original post: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=651532

Thanks guys (and gals)!

I started the car up and it was just gone. The compressor doesn't kick on at all, but I can try to short the wires again to get it to come on. Want me to do this?

yeah try that again..

It's possible that the new switch already went bad.. or you could now have a ccrm problem.. or even something as simple as a fuse.

Could another switch possibly be causing this switch to heat up and burn out? What's a CCRM? I'll check fuses again...where is the passenger compartment fuse box located?

The CCRM is the constant control relay module. it's located in the right hand fender well near the air inlet.

there is many possibilities on why your a/c is not working. First check to see if you have freeon.
