Well, I had an engine that ended up falling through In my garage I have a 2.3NA block already mostly torn down.

If I put a turbo motor in I'd really like it to be rebuilt and run as new as possible, so I was thinking, I've already priced a rebuild Kit for a 2.3 with the forged Pistons.

I know I need the Computer (which I can get) plus the turbo and Manifold and do the oil line to the turbo, other then that would that be alright?

and what about the head and cam? how much differant are they from the stock 2.3 block? you guys have been such a serious help for me so far, this is about the best I can do for the moment any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

thank you all for your help so far!

It's doable! You'll have to drill a hole in the block for the turbo oil drain. Just hone the cylinders, grab a re-ring kit from www.northernautoparts.com, pick up these forged slugs......

and your good to go!

You'll want a turbo head (different/better combustion chambers). Here's one pretty much setup.....

Pickup a Ranger roller cam and followers off of Ebay. They're on there all the time.
Check Stinger's site on how to do the wiring conversion......http://projecthp.ford23.com/. Slap it all together and enjoy!!

Here's the re-ring kit.....
http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductModelDetail.cfm?ProductModelId=3090

The n/a head will work for now, but it's a big restriction. Uncracked turbo heads are very hard to find. An early '70's oval port, from a Pinto is said to work well, if you can find one! For good power, you want to invest your $$$ in headwork, exhaust and intake. After all, the motor is just a big air pump!

Before you tackle this, I suggest you hang out on www.turboford.org for awhile. Read, read and then read some more. You'll learn a ton of useful info!! Good luck!
