I want to get a "chip" to make my car a little faster, I have A '99 GT, I am new to the concept of chips, what do you guys use? do I need to know what I have in my car before I get one? my budget is about 500 $, I am hoping that will be enough? Thanks

i would get a sct xcal 2 read my post on the diablo chip tune from earlier here in tech. bad tune+dyno

500 dollars makes it easy. get a sct xcal 2. i messed around with a diablo chip and it sucked so i sold it for the xcal2

yeah get a hand held tuner like the SCT or Diablo sport everyone has their personal pic, you can do so much more with one than a chip
