I don't know what this is, but it's hooked up to a vacuumport on the intake and goes to the canister in the passenger fender. i remember reading a thread in this a while back but can't find it through search.
i know other have removed their canisters, so i would assume this would be deleted. my only concern would be if it would set off any codes? ot dash lights?

Now for some reason i'm having a hard time findind the coolant line that goes from the far left heater line to the far left port on the water pump. as shown below. part store keep giving me the bypass line that is shown already installed. anyone have a part number, or know what to ask for, so i can get the correct part. and if your wondering, yes i have a cobra but i'm deleting the oil cooling lines.

Thanks
joe

1 is the EVAP solenoid. If you open the EVAP system, be careful if you park in a garage near a pilot light.

For 2, that should be an easy hose to replace. I've gotten it at the local parts store before. I'd try asking for one for a GT (just because the parts store computers are often screwed up) and see what is displayed.

Joe,

The first is your canister purge selonoid or evap. The only problem with deleting the system is that you will have a gas odor at the front of the car all it does is circulate the vapors from the gas tank and re burns them IIRC. Im unsure about the codes or lites sorry man. Is there a reason you want to get rid of it?

Hissin, the first place i went to i asked for all of the hoses, since i still have original ones on.
i had ask for a 95 GT, and they came back with three hoses. the upper, lower, and the bypass. i told them there was one more, but then i get well that whats on the computer. even after trying to explain to them i need the one from the heater line to the water pump. nothing like talking to a wall. tried three other place for the one hose since i bought the other three, they all want to give me the bypass hose. so i've pretty much gave up on asking the part stores.

Adam - i wasn't sure if it was part of the smog or egr. i removed them and wanted to make sure i didn't for get anything. now i have to make another trip to the store and get another barb for the intake. dammit

Thanks for the responses
joe

Green Sales Company in Cincinnati will find ANY part you need. They have every diagram of our cars you can imagine and are extremely knowledgeable.

The EVAP circuit is for venting the fuel tank in a closed loop (it's neither smog or EGR related). It is best to keep that circuit functional and closed if you can (it doesn't hurt performance one bit).

Autozone locally (to me) appears to have your hose. It's labeled as a heater hose (with notes that it goes from the water pump to the heater rail). There are variations so you'll pick the one that applies to you.
