Car lately, is running not as well as I'd like

Easiest way to do a compression test? Anyone?

I'm in Canada, don't have an Autozone, or whatever it is that will run your codes for free, anyone know if alot of places do that?

Off original topic...what parts of the belt system brackets (A/C, P/S, Idler, tensioner, crank, Smog, W/P) are the same as a fox body? All of them? Just wondering because I've found polished brackets on ebay, and wondering if they'll fit my engine

TIA

You could try out a leakdown test. I know the AC, and power steering brackets are not the same as a fox.

The easiest way to do a comp test is to pay someone to do it for you.

A tester (30-40 bucks U.S. currency) includes instructions. Real short version: Hot motor, Pull all plugs, Disable ignition, Hold throttle at WOT. Vibe has a tip that he puts a charger on the battery as he does the test to keep the cranking the same throughout the test.

I do each cylinder twice - first time dry and the second time wet.

I would be pulling codes first and going from there. If you have a paperclip you can yank codes on US cars (I think it is the same for all NA cars).

Good luck.
