Well, today was a very good day. Today I ordered basically an entirely new driveline for my baby. Pretty much the only thing not being replaced is my ring & pinion (have FRPP 4.10s already) and the diff/axle housings.

D&D Performance standard spec. T-56 conversion kit
MGW Shifter
CobraBob Shifter Gasket Set
McLeod Clutch Disk, Pressure Plate, Steel Flywheel, and Throwout Bearing
31-Spline Moser axles
Eaton Posi LSD

The only thing I haven't bought yet is a new shift knob. My stock T-3650 shift knob is 5 years and 100,270 miles old now, and you can't even see half of the shift pattern on it any more. I'm going to head over to Dallas Mustang on Saturday to see if they have anything I like.

I've done a little research on the fluids I should be using, and to my surprise, the general consensus seems to be that sticking to conventional oils for both the transmission and the differential is the way to go. Unless I get some very convincing advice, I think I'm going to go with some run-of-the-mill Valvoline Dexrom III/Mercon ATF in the T56 and 80w90 with 4 oz. of friction modifier in the rear end.

If everything arrives quickly, I could have everything installed before the end of next week. Of course, my buddy is already bugging me about getting slicks next. Hard enough explaining all this to the wife as it is.
