Here's what I did this weekend. Sandblasted the cowl, then went to work on this nasty section, right side lower corner of the windshield area:

Who knows how long it was leaking. At some point someone tried to seal it with clear silicone but all they did was fill in inderneath the trim.

It doesn't have the same contours as the original cowl piece, but know one's going to see it, right? At least it's sealed and structurally sound again.
