Well I was on my way back from work and I exited the service ramp and began to downshift to the red light when all of a sudden my car just died!! I mean it just shut off, I didnt stall it, I mean it just died. I was wondering since Ive put my o/r H and headers should of I had it dynoed tuned it to check to see if it is running rich or lean....could this be the problem. When I turned the car back on it didnt show any check engine lights or anything so im kinda confused. Also I was wondering since im runnin an O/R H should there be carbine build up at my exhaust tips? Any input would help guys. The car only has 24500 miles.

has it done this again? many times the IAC can be the cause of problems like this. you can try cleaning the iac with some brake clean. to do this just remove the iac and clean out the inside of it.

+1. Has happened to me before, but on startup (not during driving). When it would turn over, it would idle very rougly around 900rpm, then kaput.

You can also check alternator and battery cables, but unlikely w/ so few miles on it.

With an O/R pipe, you do get a bit more moisture in the pipes because it's not being caught / burnt in the cats. My setup spits water out the back if it's been sitting for more than a couple of days. Now if there is tons of black stuff or build-up, might be more of a concern...
