My dad recently had both legs amputated and is wheelchair bound. I want to give him his dream trip to the beach for a stay of two weeks during the full and near full moon, but I have a problem. I cannot fit his wheelchair in my stang. As bad as I hate to, I need to put a trailer hitch on it so that I can pull the chair. it won't fit in the trunk because I started modding my car in 03'
when it was brand new, I did a custom stereo that is built into the trunk and cannot remove it without lots and lots of work. I don't have time for the work that it would take.

anyway, is there a hide away hitch or anything available? Will it require any cutting on the body or frame or anything? What parts would you guys recommend? Anything else you can think of?

I searched for the answer to my question, but came away with little to no information...maybe I overlooked something but I was hoping that you guys could help. I've got to put this together fast because I have to go the first week of October and may not get another chance because his health is pretty bad.

Thanks for your time,
Britt

if theres a uhaul (or someplace like that) around you, that would be the first place i would check. ive seen stangs with hitches before, but they were small and tucked under the bumper slightly, not out like on a truck or something.

Mustang trailer hhitches sold on drivewire state an install time of 25 minutes, so it most likely isn't too complicated....and I highly doubt you'd have to cut.
