Gah! is all I have to say... My car has been in the shop for 1 week now for a clutch replacement
Heres the Story..........
A few weeks ago I started up my car and started to move an it seemed my clutch was not letting go as it was 50/50 engaged.. So I had to give it more gas to get it to move.. I was like clutch is done for..
Well I couldnt just take it to the shop I had to finish work for the week.. Well I continued to drive the car and it seemed to get worse if I punched the gas the RPM's would jump up an the car wouldnt move until the RPM's dropped back down a bit...
Now I was certain the clutch was done and needed to be replaced
I continued to drive it until Friday last day of work.. An the Car would hardly move I had it in first and have to Rev it to make it move a little bit.. then it finally didnt move anymore.. If i gave it gas with the clutch not pressed in and also in 1st gear the car just did not move
-So I called a performance shop that deals with nothing but mustangs..
Gave them My issue they said its more or less the clutch is scorched
They called me today and told me this
Hey Dan... We just finished your car and its on the ground but we seem to have a problem.. "Thinking Not More problems!!"
.... We started your car put it in first gear and its not moving at all
"Your clutch we took out was perfectly fine also"
We are not sure what it could be we did a trans flush and the fluid looked fine with a little material in it but nothing strange..
-We think it might be something to do with the transmission but there is nothing we can smell or hear that my be the issue
-They are taking my motor/trans out tomarrow and inspecting it to see the issue
Has anyone had this problem before if so what do you think it could be
"Again the transmission is spinning they can feel it.. an its not making any wierd noises everything seems fine"
Again if you have seen this issue or have an idea of what it could be let me know!!!
This mustang is the biggest issue ever lol..
Thanks
