Merry Christmas, SD! I practically fell off my chair when I saw your name as the post originator. Hope all is well (as can be expected); and I'm glad to hear you kept the 64-1/2. Keep 'er stock, Dave.... keeps the rest of us honest!

Sorry Dave, a couple of guys love following me around. When my post goes up, their post goes up. As you say, the older we become the better we deal with distractions. It was not about being politically correct when you and I were coming along.
I have a family member who suffered his massive stroke (left side) at 54. He gets better over time and am sure you will continue to improve.
Just curious - how fast have you had the old girl going?

Although my health is now much improved, the realities of age ARE creeping up on me. My love of tools and Mustangs will likely last as long as I do. My 'ol 64 1/2 'vert is a "time machine" that transports me to an earlier time when life and the times were simpler. It is a surreal experience to hear the 'ol 260 crank over and fire! All of the old noises and clatters are still there; so totally unlike Mamma's Taurus.
But I am being sentimental, possibly leaning toward "sappy". Than comes with age and experience; for that I have no apologies.

Superdave I have always respected your helpful nature and seemingly limitless reserve of knowledge on all things. It's good to see you posting again, even if it is only every now and then.
I thought i mide aswell get a few words in on this nestalgic thread. I have been keeping in touch with ole davy boy from time to time. Glad to see some of the old posters are still kicken about.
