Hey guys, oh man i really hope i didn't mess up my 4r70w that bad.. The car in question is a 95 4.6 tbird, and i was in the back of my apt building trying to get out. I started spinning, and i was P'd off big time cause i just shoveled the entire lot (2hours...) yet i couldn't drive over 1 inch of compacted snow. Anyway i was in 2nd, cause of the less torque, and the tires where sliding by them selves-very little, maybe 1mph and i totally forgot to hit the brake before putting her in Park....
The noise that resulted was a WHIIIRRRR noise, i did hear a little grind with it..very little though. Anyway i finall got her out...jeeezz...
PS, in a way i'm not too nervous, cause the tranny is a rebuilt tranny which i had put in months ago..it's only been about 4k miles on it. I got a 1 year/12K miles warranty whichever comes first.....but still how do i know if i messed up the tranny, anything to look out for..? Thanks alot...
