I was reading an article in one of my old 5.0 magazines and they said, "When we moved from 24- to 36-lb/hr injectors, we switched from the 'notoriously conservative' Cobra computer to an A3M1 computer out of another project car ... "

What is an A3M1 computer out of ... or where does a guy buy one

I cant really add much, i didnt think it was a very popular computer, i didnt know if it would work for me and noone i asked seemed like they really knew the A3M. But its working just fine in my car, i thought the A9L was the ideal computer.

The A3M (and A3M1) is the factory replacement for the A9L and is basically identical to it.

So you are saying if I went into the Ford dealer to buy a replacement computer for my '89 5speed, they'd sell me an A3M(1) as a stock replacement, because it has the same variables for fuel/timing etc programmed into it
