Hello, I have a 2.3l a4ld, and I had to drop the tranny, replace the pump seal, and put it back up, since then, i have to reline, then let off the gas till rpms are below 1000 then give it easy gas to get 3rd gear. once it get around 3k rpms, sometimes it will slip back into second. its not a downshift its WAY to soft to be a downshift. at 3k, the rpms just rev up like its in nuetral, then i give it more gas, and it catches into second around 5k rpms...
the speddo does NOT work after this because somehow the plastic teeth got messed up on the speddo gear.
