Ever since I got my Windveil Blue V6, I've been in love with it. And since I only have one day off per week, I decided to make the best out of it by driving out of town and taking pics of key locations within Southern California. I do this not only because I love my Mustang, but to give others a look at where to go when they visit this state. I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I took them.

Ventura Beach, CA, 10/1/05 - I always wanted to drive by the Pacific Coast. And even though it was a cold, foggy day, I thought the weather was perfect for this pictorial, considering that the climate was a far cry from the sweltering heat in L.A.

Palm Springs, CA, 10/8/05 - The 1994 anime Macross Plus inspired me to take the 10 freeway and visit the windmill farms that give Palm Springs its power. I knew the windmills were big, but I never imagined them to be over 10 stories tall! If you happen to be in this part of California, you should check these windmills out for yourself. Taking pictures alone is an experience on its own, given the strong winds in the area.

Thanks. I've been considering a ducktail, but for now, I'll leave the rear end as simple as it is.
Ducktail!!!Blasphemy!!! leave it smooth, don't break up those lines.
BTW Very nice camera work. You have anymore shots of her on the PCH?

Thanks for the compliments. Those are all the shots I have, but I will return to the Pacific Coast at the end of the month - either in Malibu or Santa Barbara. This Saturday will be a treat for those who dig Danish. :D

Solvang, CA, 10/15/05 - Founded in 1911 by Danish settlers, this small town with a population of 5,000 delights tourists with its classic European architecture and numerous gift shops, restaurants and wineries. In fact, it is among several locations used in the 2004 film Sideways. So if you fancy a Danish, visit Solvang.

And here are a couple of pics on my way home. This is Mussel Shoals, located off the 101 in Ventura County.

I'm sure it's in the works, but you HAVE to visit Angeles Crest. GREAT driving and some very nice scenery as well. A ride up to Big Bear & Arrowhead Lakes will also provide some nice scenery, not to mention great roads.

Nice Pix & an even nicer ride. I think the overcast day really allows all the shades of blue to come out in your first pix!
