is there any way to fix/strengthen the weak/cracked fiberglass around the pin holes?

strange, my hood seems to be quite stable around where the hood pins are. and yes, they are where the bumpstops were.

i got my hood to latch by using a hammer....well its still not perfect since I have to drop it from about 2 feet in order for it to fully shut...but i wouldnt recommend my way

I had to adjust the latch on mine, took a little while to finally get right but it did finally latch.
