ABC Exclusive Saleen Hood problem

I purchased a Saleen heat extractor hood from ABC last year. After installing the hood I found that the hood couldn't latch properly. I had to temporarily modify the latch plate in the hood to make it function and it still wouldn't latch properly. Anyone have this problem?

i did.

you have to unbolt the actual hood latch and move it up as much as you need to in order to get teh hood to latch. re-tighten it and try it as many times as you need to get it adjusted right.

if not, you could always just run locking hood pins--that's what i wound up doing.
