Does the carb box come with the paxton kit? I see it listed as an accessory.

The extra money for polishing, does that include the supercharger, pipes, bracket, and carb box?

I emailed paxton, but I havent heard back.

the kit should be complete, but it depends on the kit you are getting and from who.The "polished" kit should be the head unit, box and outlet pipe to box. The new Novi 1200 kits are about 3400.00 from Paxton or superchragers.com

Boxes are old technology, and have their share of problems. I would really consider a bonnet, they also come polished.

yeah, im looking at the paxton auto site where they are listed for $3195...plus shipping, I am assuming.

I just dont like the look of a dinky bonnet on top of my carb (unless you can persuade me otherwise.) I like the looks of the box better. I will only run about 8 psi.

I personally like the design of the bonnet, but having said that, I have used neither.

Boxes have a problem with causing the air to flow across the carb which causes it to have problems metering air. Bonnets force it directly into the throat, and you can get the shiny and purdy too. Plus a jet change takes 10 times less time.

Plz note that the kit is not complete; you have to buy a special carb to work in the enclosure or modify yours. This is noted on Paxton's site.

Spend 50 bucks, and do it yourself if you are only doing a few psi. It really is not that hard.Drill this out, cover this up, chang eth efloats and WHAMO.
