Does the stocker (500) have RCA plugs in the back? I dont feel like going through the bull**** of pulling it out. If anyone has a picture of the back of it, that would be superb.
If no one can answer I'll look in the shop manual (May be in the electrical shop manual though :-() when I get my car back from Advanced Auto. But I'll bring it over if I can find it.

Actualy.... I just bought the TripTunes audio adapter and it connects inline to the antenna so myguess is that there s no RCA plug back there.
'ya didn't state why you need rca's? Crutchfield has an adapter to that adds rca's, it has an antenulator that lets you set it either for say an ipod or XM but not both. Part number is (469FRD4AUX P.I.E. FRD04-AUX Auxiliary Interface Ford) Ford also has a product called TripTunes that does the same thing for about $30 cheeper. I don't know if you'll be able to drive sub's with it. I never found any for $20.00.
i was just running the idea of putting some subs in the trunk. nothing is set in stone and im not heart broken if i dont do it. It was just something i was contemplating. appreciate it fellas.
To be honest, if I was looking to upgrade to a i-pod compatible sound system, I would upgrade the entire system. No stock system is going to perform as well as an aftermarket one. Why try to "jerry-rig" if if you can replace it?
