How do I go about pulling an ABS code if it doesn't come on until I start driving? I grounded the one wire it says to at the abs diagnostic connector but I don't see the light flash at all. Am I supposed to drive it until it comes on and then stop and try to do this?

abs test connector.

I had an abs problem a couple weeks ago and have fixed it. Aight well if it only comes on when your driving it it could be a frayed wire on one of the sensors thus not making good contact. Your going to have to catch the abs light when its on, then you can do the test. The connector is right by the engine fuse box. Turn the engine off and just leave the key in the ignition. Get a paper clip or something of that nature and stick it where the (I think its an orange wire) hole is and then the other end of the paper clip to the ground hole (black wire) in the connector. Okay leave it there. Make sure its in there good. Now have a pen and paper ready...go inside the car and turn the key to power the accessories. (dont turn the engine on). The ABS light should start blinking. count the number of blinks. A (Blink Blink Blink ---Pause---then a Blink Blink Blink Blink) would be a 34. A (Blink Blink Blink- Pause-Blink Blink) is 32 and so on. So yeah I don't know the codes but I had a thread on here that lists the codes. Do a search and look for my ABS thread a couple weeks old. The codes are there. Good Luck man. Its a long list of codes to diagnose and pinpoint. Mine was a 34 which meant it was something wrong with my Pass(Left) Rear sensor. Replaced it and haven't had a problem since. The wire was almost cut all the way through. That was my problem. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
