ABS Question quick

So i got my gears in and they broke one of the abs sensors i had one ... but they broke the one i didnt have they are diffrent right and where could i get one cheap? i beleive i need the left side? Ill post a pic of the one i have tomarrow..

I got my front one off of advance's website. But you can only get them off the site ya can't get them from the store

I bought mine for $40....something from NAPA......connection under the rear seat.....not hard to fix..

If a shop did the install, why wouldnt it be their problem?

I had to ask in case it saves you a few bucks.

Ya know that's funny, Hissin, because I just ran into that problem today. I had my mechanic install my cobra brake upgrade (I was in a time bind before my trip, but they didn't get it done anyways ) and they broke both of my rear ABS sensors. They charged me for both of them, but I didn't put up too much of a fight because the total bill was $242. He has several Mustangs of his own and wanted to use my hardware on one of his vehicles. After this incident I will not be going back to him for work, but I figured I would just pay and not hassle with it.

Donavan, I hear ya and wouldn't sweat it - the sensors break all the time during a gear swap/brake work. I should have worded my above-post better. A lot of times with something like that, you kinda gotta eat the cost but it probably doesnt hurt for someone to ask.
If it wasnt due to the machanic's inattention/crudeness (not the case here), then there really isnt much one can do.

Now that brake kit sounds yummie!

I figured that was what ya meant, I've read so much about how cheap those plastic sensors are and that they break most of the time when trying to remove them. The only real reason I won't be going back to him for a while is because he didn't get my car done before my vacation, my car missed the yearly St. Ignace car show/cruise because of that, it kinda ruined my weekend. Anyways, I'll have to post some pics up of the brakes, everything looks real nice now. BTW, I feel like I've moved up the stangnet ladder, someone knows my real name

My buddy installed it and as i said before i only bought the one side and they broke the other now i dont know where to get another one advanced was like 70 can i get it cheaper somewhere...?

I broke both my rears during the gear install a couple of years ago.I found 2 front ones on ebay for $10.I had to cut and splice the wires because the front ones are much shorter than the backs,ABS light went off and they work fine.......just a suggestion
